Bromley’s Markets are the Real Deal
The Real Deal Charter, has been signed at Bromley’s Charter Market. The initiative gives a commitment to shoppers for safe and fair trading at markets.
Councillor Peter Morgan, Executive Councillor for Renewal and Recreation signed the national charter. This act gives consumers confidence that Bromley’s markets are a safe shopping environment, free of counterfeit and other illegal products. The signing happened simultaneously with the Love Your Local Market campaign. The latter promotes street markets, where reduced-price stalls on Bromley’s Charter Market were made available for a limited period so that young entrepreneurs could obtain valuable business experience, the cleaners in Bromley said.
Councillor Peter Morgan, Executive Councillor for Renewal and Recreation said “Entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well in Bromley with many successful businesses starting life on a market stall before growing into bigger premises".
